Eternal light of Our Love
Eternal Light of Our Love
Lo! Yonder, the sun doth kiss the land, With golden rays that gently brand The silhouette of thee, mine heart, Upon this realm, we ne’er depart.
O country fair, whose hills embrace The shadows soft of thy dear face, The twilight sings of gratitude, For love and light and solitude.
Thou art the dawn, the morning’s rise, The gilded hues of heaven’s skies, And I, a humble worshipper, Of every breath, of every stir.
Thank thee, O love, for all thou art, The boundless grace within thy heart, For in thine arms, I find mine peace, As day and night in thee, ne’er cease.
Thus, 'til the stars fall from the sky, My soul to thine shall always fly, In every dusk, in every dawn, Our spirits twine, forever drawn.
