A Winter Wish for You
A Winter Wish for You
Beneath December's gentle glow,
Your gaze holds secrets I may never know.
Draped in the warmth of crimson cheer,
A silent yearning lingers near.
The frost outside cannot compare
To the chill of love in silent air.
No letters, no whispers, no fleeting glance,
Yet my heart holds hope for another chance.
Oh, how your smile defies the cold,
A fleeting flame, a tale untold.
The Santa hat perched with playful grace,
Yet in your eyes, I see the space.
What I’d give to bridge the time,
To hear your laugh, to call you mine.
For though we stand in worlds apart,
You remain the keeper of my heart.
So here I sit, with ink and snow,
Dreaming of the love I’ll one day show.
Until then, my soul will wait,
For fate to unlock our destined gate.
