Fading Horizons
Fading Horizons
A silhouette carved by the dying light,
Where twilight whispers hold the night.
You stand afar, yet my soul still roams,
Drawn to you—its eternal home.
Threads of amber, soft and thin,
Stitch the sky where dreams begin.
But shadows linger, wide and vast,
A longing born of lifetimes past.
In the quiet glow, I feel your name,
Etched in stars, in whispers, in flame.
Though silence veils the path you tread,
Your presence lives in all unsaid.
Our bond defies the bounds of space,
A sacred thread time can’t erase.
Twin flames ignited, then pulled apart,
Yet you still burn within my heart.
The air hums low with love suppressed,
A yearning sharp, yet never confessed.
No words, no contact—still, you're near,
In every breath, in every tear.
The horizon bleeds, a silent plea,
For souls entwined through eternity.
Each sunset brings a quiet ache,
Of promises only our souls could make.
Though miles divide and silence grows,
Our tethered hearts still overflow.
You are the dusk, the light, the fire,
The endless ache, my soul’s desire.
When night descends and stars align,
I feel your pulse still echo in mine.
No distance, no time, no earthly plane,
Could sever what we can’t explain.
So I’ll wait here beneath the glow,
Let separation teach what we must know.
That love like ours, both raw and true,
Transcends the space between me and you.
